FM Tech is based in Tianjin, China and is a leading manufacturer of affordable rock climbing shoes, chalk bags and athletic apparel in that area. Although they are located and have production facilities in China, the design work is done in Canada. They are a joint venture company with China having 55% share and Canada having 45% share.

FM Tech is already well established in China. Liu Chang Zhong, China’s top competition and highly respected climber, wins national comps wearing FM Tech shoes.

Currently, FM Tech is working to establish itself as a leading climbing shoe supplier in the United States, Australia and Europe.
